Twenty-four
the parable that keeps me awake tonight
shines hot
the day
hot on a weary back
that is what he says about the late
glass in the deep hours still
far enough from dawn
and in a clearing
Zupeopa stalks and ignites the ideal
birds sing
and the dark continues here and you might ask him again
why not sleep
back next
Close the window to return to the calendar.
